Created a real-time Last Minute Hotel Booking platform. Built a partner portal for hotel property management and mobile booking application for customers. Further designed the platform to expand to a complete travel experience providing flights, shuttles, tickets, etc. Built a 12 person software engineering team. Created financial projections, CAP tables, etc. and raised $1.6 million. Partnered with two large bed- banks in Asia & Europe.

Worked with the core team that built digital marketing tools for Bernie Sanders (US Presidential Candidate 2016) to build SocialRoots.io which is a platform to empower users to find like-minded people, organize, and quickly spread a message across digital networks. I built a chat system similar to slack which supported integrations and dynamic content.

Developed & evangelized Single-Box Framework to deploy Bing Services across machine pools. Designed, implemented & evangelized tools to streamline development costs across Bing & Microsoft. Implemented a Sentiment Classifier for the shopping pipeline using the Naïve Bayes algorithm. This component identified the attributes in a review and classified the sentiment as positive, negative, none and mixed. This system enabled Bing to provide the opinion of the web for products.

Founded Videoly to enable users to easily send video mails using their webcam or upload existing videos using their existing email accounts. Experimented with various ad-based & paid revenue models for the consumer space as well as Videoly as a platform & marketing tool for small-businesses. Videoly was accepted at YCombinator 2007.

Architected the next generation scalable, distributed and redundant security system that worked in a small facility with a single door to a large-scale enterprise. Redesign reduced installation time by several days and cost by ~ 40% Tightly integrated the system with WebEyeAlert, Dedicated Micros, Pelco, Panasonic and Toshiba DVR’s. Demoed product at trade shows; gathered leads; facilitator in retaining over $4 million in business. Increased business potential by optimizing real-time alarm/card transaction processing from 20,000 to 150,000 an hour. Architected software to monitor real-time status of hardware peripherals and inter-service communication. Created tools to perform network bandwidth analysis on the system for load balancing, throughput and activity. Provided field/on-site support, technical support, customer support as well as established remote debugging sessions to customer sites and reduced turn around time from several days to hours.

I have worked 23 years of experience working with Javascript from the early days of JScript / Javascript to ES6/ES7/ES8 and NodeJS. I have worked on large-scale distributed systems and built some of the most complex UI's. 

I have worked with JS to build complex Single-Page Applications in Epidemiological Modeling, Bing Search, and Outlook Web Access. I have highly specialized skills as a Performance Expert in Javascript. My spatiotemporal visualizations using Javascript were featured in a TED talk by a well-known influential person.

I have worked with various UI libraries over the years and I'm comfortable using either of these.
