After picking up Ruby about 2 years ago it quickly became my strongest programming language. I use ruby on a daily basis at work. I also maintain and contribute to open source Ruby projects. One such project is retscli (https://github.com/summera/retscli), a command line interface for querying RETS (Real Estate Transaction Standard) servers and searching metadata.

I maintain and manage a Ruby on Rails application at our startup. The application handles many aspects of the business including our customer portal, API requests, sales portal, and marketing.

Django was the first web framework I learned. I work with python at work. I have a lot of experience with scrapy.

I work with git on a daily basis for many projects.

Our startup builds mobile apps for small to medium sized businesses. We are focused on building apps in the real estate industry. I am in charge of architecting and developing our iOS apps. We have also built an auto-deployment system for our iOS apps utilizing fastlane (https://github.com/fastlane/fastlane).

I spend a lot of my time in the shell. I use iTerm2, tmux, and vim. This is a huge part of my workflow and is key to my productivity.

We run most of our infrastructure on AWS and use many of their services including Elasticbeanstalk, Elasticsearch, Load balancing, EC2, Elastic IPs, and S3.

I have worked on single page applications with backbone.js in the past. I now work with javascript in the context of rails. I have created an open source project called chromestore.js (https://github.com/summera/chromestore.js) which is a wrapper around chrome's filesystem api. I have also implemented such things as asynchronous image uploads to S3 and Facebook login with the Facebook javascript sdk.

I have worked with HTML/CSS as static files and in a dynamic web framework context.

I work with SQL on a daily basis to analyze data. When SQL queries get complex I will often choose SQL over an ORM to design a query.

I have worked with servers on Heroku, Digital Ocean, and AWS.
