As a Senior Remote Developer for two years, I specialized in Python, Objective-C, C++, and C libraries, working on a project aimed at providing support agents with a comprehensive dashboard. This dashboard allowed them to view and interact with data from multiple databases in an IFTTT manner, consolidating information for ease of access.I employed unit testing and integration tests to ensure the quality of the code and functionality throughout the development process. I faced several unique challenges during this time, including writing a library to communicate and alter the Chromium Browser from outside the process, implementing an XPC communication library from scratch, and creating a wrapper for the Python side of the communication library, while avoiding memory accumulations and leaks.Throughout the project, I collaborated with a team of approximately three senior developers and three junior to mid-level developers at any given time, fostering a supportive and dynamic environment for development and innovation.

macOS developer python + Objective-C Automation

The last iPad app is meant for people who go on cruises.

The application works on iPad and the flow looks like this :
- the user can login with an private account, or with a social account (facebook/google/linkedin)
- then the user would see all the cruises from all over the world, in a custom table, for this we used a private API that the client provided
- after filtering by departure date / arrival date / port location / number of days it could select a cruise
- after the cruise is selected and is set to "Going" the following information would be retrieved from our server + skobbler servers : 
* vector maps that are much smaller in size than raster maps
* weather forecast for the next up to 15 days - this was presented to the user with a day by day selection and a bezier curve for the daily temperature
* local currency based on the port location and currency conversion 

For the data about the port descriptions and public attractions from the ports we scraped wikitravel and stored that on our server which we later served as JSON to our app.

The app was meant to be used offline so all the above information including ship details were stored locally. The most difficult area was reducing the size of the areas that were downloaded for the maps, as they were served as a country by country basis, only after a negotiation with the skobbler team we managed to send them coordinates that we liked to be included in our custom maps.
