I have written several thousands of lines of code in Java on multiple projects including an open-source project used by researchers and computational scientists. I have also worked on the design and scalability challenges for software using Java language.

I have been working with Python long before it was considered cool. I have created several Machine Learning and Data Mining programs in Python using libraries like scikit-learn and Numpy. I am currently leading the maintenance and development of an open-source product developed in Python which is used by computational scientists in the US.

I have worked in C/C++ for as long as I can remember. It includes various standards of both and the latest features of C++14 and C++17.

I have written thousands of SQL queries in my career. The shortest of them is a one-liner and the longest more than 50 lines.
I have worked with nearly all the mainstream relational databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.

I have extensive experience with the design and analysis of algorithms of different fields in Computer Science.

Several years of experience working with various databases and designing scalable database systems.

I have worked in web development using various technologies and frameworks, including raw PHP, Code Igniter, Ruby on Rails, Django, Flask, WordPress, HTML/CSS/JavaScript.

I have worked in native PHP and in frameworks like CodeIgniter for web development over the past few years. However, PHP is not my goto language for development. 

I am a prolific researcher with 8 publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. One research article and a book chapter has recently been accepted and went to the press. My interests lie in Data Science, Data Provenance, Computational Reproducibility, Machine Learning, Information Retrieval, Natural Language Processing, Graph Databases, Scalable Querying, etc.
