Freelance work has taught me to handle entire projects from architectural planning to production deployment in collaboration with product owners using Agile methods.
Frontend is my focus as I'm driven both by technical challenges and crafting enjoyable UX.
My free time is spent exploring many forms of digital arts such as computer graphics and music production, or simply enjoying a beer with friends.
Work Experience
Hume is a web app (Vue/Java/Neo4j) that leverages graph data structures (via Hume.js) to help law enforcement and security agencies make sense of large relational datasets.
I worked on Hume.js, the graph visualization library, as part of a team of 2 other senior developers and a product manager, full remote, in English.
- Designed and implemented new features
- Optimized performance of the library (improvements from 20 to 80% faster loading times, larger gains with larger datasets)
- Optimized the build workflow (and ability to debug in app) from 6 min to 15 seconds per change
- Built an R&D framework for custom graph layout algorithms development (Svelte)
The mission was to build a map editor for a company providing online virtual enterprise spaces.
I worked with the CEO to define the needs and CTO to integrate the tool with their backend.
- Built a map editor that allows to draw editable polygons to define user interactions on a pre-rendered map image (video)
- Integration of the tool with the client's backend using Docker images.
