Worked as a Computer Science Instructor at CodeConnect, where we as an instructor ensure that our computer science education is accessible, empowering, and supportive for the next generation, and moreover, committed to our mission of increasing diversity in tech. In CodeConnect I gave Python lectures to Pre-University students.

Developed an end to end application to manage all the Indeed’s internal resources. Have also written bulk APIs to stitch data from three internal tools to provide information through a single endpoint. Applications were successfully pushed to production.

Developed a model from scratch for forecasting hourly power demand for the next 24 hours of an Industrial plant; Proposed RNN/LSTM model. Also, detected faulty panels in a solar power plant using weather condition and power output.

Simran Singhal

Built an emulation of an SQL engine in Python which took SQL commands as input, and using given database, provided the related output. Implemented query parsing, syntax error detection, and data integrity maintenance from scratch.

Implemented this for automatic instrument recognition given a monophonic and monotimbral audio recording; Dataset comprises of total 5438 samples of 7 instruments commonly used in rock music bands; Designed novel feature set that allow us to obtain 99.3% classification accuracy using an SVM.

I did this project as part of Microsoft Hackathon and won the Hackathon. I developed the Airport Management system and wrote SQL queries inside the python code for querying, writing and deleting from the database to update and get the required information.

Built NMT (Neural MT) system when training data (parallel sentences in the concerned source and target language) is available in a domain. However, such domain data is of small size. Machine learning is to be used in such a way that the small-sized domain data can be combined with a large amount of general data.

Neural Machine Translation of English to Hindi for domain data 

Developed open-source product/tool which can automatically find faults and its type in different HVAC using Machine Learning Methodologies. This idea was published as a research paper and also accepted in a conference. Novelty and LIterature review is done to prove how the idea is new and not being implemented before and used in today's condition.
