Work Experience
Software Development primarily using Python and Django Worked on a variety of projects (usually involving RESTful APIs) , often interacting with clients. On some projects was involved with design and architectural discussions, and wrote documentation. On all projects implemented code with the goal of creating reliable maintainable software and tested (both manually and with unit tests)
Create programs in Perl to automate long running, tedious manual jobs for various banking professionals. As the sole developer was responsible for the full design, implementation, testing and maintenance. Used SQL queries to provide reports for banking professionals. Served as admin on a Linux server used for secure file transfer, handling system backups, updates, and troubleshooting issues.
