Principal software engineer

Hourstack is a time and task management platform with a wide range of integration, including Asana, ClickUp, Github, Google Calendar, Slack, etc. As a principal engineer, my role was to develop and maintain a clean, high performant, and standardized API code optimize and fine-tune the database write tests, documentation implement a CI pipeline for automated tests and deployments Implement integrations for various 3rd party APIs

SWOOP Analytics is a collaboration analytics software for Microsoft Teams, Yammer, and Workplace from Facebook. As a developer, my role is ranging from create a scalable deployment system, an efficient database, and a modern API write documentation ensure product and data end work together Build components to work within the overall architecture laid out by SWOOP

Senior developer 

The software as a service developed by Yabble was initially implemented by Boys From The Factory, but after a year and a half development the company offered the CTO position to me to continue working on the system as part of Yabble. 

The platform is built on Laravel and VueJS, uses a MySQL Percona cluster, and ElasticSearch cluster, Redis, Graylog, HAProxy, etc.

Recently we worked on migrating the platform to AWS Lambda and Aurora.

Now the software generates more than half of the revenue of the once service based market research company.

Boys From The Factory is a small software house, focused on building MVPs and marketing for early stage startups. As a founder and lead developer my responsible was to establish an effective and efficient development pipeline along with managing the infrastructure and the team.

I was hired as a senior developer to work on re-architecturing a monolythic legacy Symfony system to a microservice based model, and rewrite it to Python. 

One of my main achievement was to implement the central messaging bus utilizing RabbitMQ to allow the optimal communication of the different services. 

I worked on the new finance system, the shopping card and online payment module, and the fulfillment engine. Also participated in the complete rework of the client facing interface using an ElasticSearch based approach, instead of the traditional database driven architecture. 

Senior Python developer

I led a team of developers, both internal and remote contractors. I mentored and supervised them, and helped the producers to distribute work. 

My primary task was to design a system for the company to enable rapid project development, safe deployment and reliable maintenance in an ever changing environment. 

     
Ustream.tv is the world’s biggest commercial live streaming website, a classic startup, recently bought by IBM. 

I was part of its initial core team, who architected and implemented the foundation of the system. 

I played significant role in API development, which led to the monetization of the platform, and implemented the first major rebuild of the broadcaster application. 

Participated in media server cluster design and server-side programming to enable scaling and optimal bandwidth management for our clients. Developed several tester and measurement tools for streaming.
