GS Quantify 2016 Finalist: GS Quantify is the flagship contest of Goldman Sachs. Its a computer science, quant and machine learning contest, where we are tested on real-world problems from different areas of quantitative finance and analytics. 
My team was one among the top 9 finalists out of more than 200 teams across India and also the team was the campus winner and among the top 3 finalists for their Machine Learning problem, "Bond Liquidity Prediction".

Overall India Winner of Machine Learning Contest, ENIGMA(team of 2) organised by CODEFEST-2016, Indian Institute of Technology(IIT-BHU), Varanasi and sponsored by Microsoft among the 628 registered teams across the country.

Build a Recommender System and a Spam Filter using Bag of Words Approach and Supervised Machine Learning
Algorithms.

Also, I have done two internships in this field. One, as a Summer Software Development and Data Science Intern, 2016 at Levadata Inc. and the second as a Winter Research Intern, 2015 at Indian Institute of Information Technology, SriCity.  Both involved applying Machine Learning algorithms and testing the parameters of the algorithm. The detailed descriptions of both the internships is mentioned in the Data Science and Natural Language Processing section.

My research paper, "A  Societal Sentiment Analysis: Predicting the Values and Ethics of Individuals by Analysing Social Media Content" got accepted at EACL, 2017(Valencia, Spain) - A top tier NLP Conference.
