- Led the tech team to build a large scale crawling and data analysis system from scratch.
- Tripled the size of the development team, trained a number of junior engineers to be independent.

Algorithmic Trader

 - designed and built a web framework to handle the scaling of a website to millions of users.
- used the framework to build a very large scale video streaming site that was (and still is) one of the top 100 most visited sites on the Internet.

Built large-scale machine learning pipelines in Tensorflow and Keras for self-driving cars a NVIDIA.
Built crawling and analytics distributed systems using Python, some statistical analysis systems using Tensorflow and SK-learn. Built large scale data processing systems in Python at YouTube.

Built large scale data processing and monitoring systems partially in Go at YouTube, some work on Istio + Apigee using Go.

Used SQL in almost all jobs - either from large scale sharded deployments to a small scale sqlite system.

Built algorithmic trading scripts with Ruby, and I've done a fair number of small sites with Ruby on Rails. These days I frequently use Ruby in place of Bash or Perl when I want to do some basic automation work.

I've been managing a few k8s clusters for my company, along with the entire deployment flow through CI, staging, and prod.

I do everything in Docker these days, including development using a docker compose cluster. I also built systems to manage the building and tagging of images to then deploy into our k8s clusters.
