I have used Python in research settings to process large data settings. But more recently I have been using it to write microservices that communicate over gRPC. I have also written maybe utility scripts with full test coverage in Python.

This is the client framework I have been using most in recent years. I find it to be more user-friendly than React but just as powerful. I have written four large production web apps with Vue. These apps have integrated with Apollo graphql, d3 for visualizations, and socket.io
