I have developed both REST and SOPA based web services for almost 10 years for companies such as Salesforce, Spotluck, Elementum. These web services are consumed by both Web and Mobile clients. 

I have contributed the android app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zailoo.xroads&hl=en. It has more than 30K downloads. It integrates with Uber, Lyft, other ride share providers API.
