I've been utilizing javascript in interesting ways since the days of DHTML. I've integrated with multiple stacks and have built out significant systems with JS.

I built my first pay for website in 1998 and have been continuing to hone my skills in this area ever since. You can see an example of my recent work by looking at the current victorsandspoils.com.

I jumped into node head first with v0.8.x and over the last couple years have pushed Node.js and Webkits to see what I could make it do. I have archtiected and built an embedded system with integrated FFT (created a number of native modules for this). I've also built native desktop applications that do interesting things with deep native integrations as well as entire middlewares with raw sockets, expressJS and socket.io.

I switched my entire organization with a massive framework from SVN to git with bitbucket so understand some of the more subtle history manipulation tools. I currently manage around 30 repos on bitbucket as well as a few on github and have been a member of many teams that have worked exclusively on github. 

Also of note is that I've done the devops integrations with git with puppet, chef and saltstack. I've also integrated and managed codeship and Jenkins projects.

I started with redhat 6 building and maintaining my highschools first real network and from there I've worked with everything from full bare-metal server racks (windows, linux, solaris, etc) to modern cloud deployments that auto scale.

I've built MEAN applications that stress the capabilities of Mongo and have worked directly with 10gen/MongoDB Inc. to push the boundaries. I was an early adopter of the new tree engines in MongoDB (tokuMX, WiredTiger) and understand both the MR side and ops side of MongoDB at scale.

I architected a framework that has a very similar loading mechanism to angularjs for working with extremely large XML documents so when angular came onto the scene it was a natural fit for us. I adopted it in the 0.9 days and have since go to production with up to 1.4.x and have apps written with 2.x that will go to production soon.

Years of experience is odd here as I've built and managed ops teams for a lot longer than devops has been a word so I'll just stick to the time frame for the word devops here. I've built and managed provisioning systems for bare-metal, vmware, kvm, openstack, linode and digital-ocean. I've built these out with a puppet, chef and saltstack as well as my own scripts orchestrated with cron in the 'old days'. I'm well versed in agile and cross communication necessary for successful devops teams and can help build up and keep these teams running.

I've been practicing agile methodology since I started building my own teams. I have done the massive waterfall thing and learned the hard way how detrimental that can be to a solution and schedule. I believe strongly in the flexible nature of agile and have worked with eXtreme programming, scrum (I'm a certified scrum master), kanban and others for both small teams as well as teams of teams.
