I have more than 7 years of IT experience related to data science, computer vision, and embedded applications. I’ve worked in projects that involves research and development state-of-the-art solutions that needs deep learning algorithms running in cloud and in embedded devices. Work Experience
Software developer in traffic detections and automatic fees generation with cameras in vehicles. I trained, finetuned and proposed architectures for vehicle detections and models for regressions in scenarios with the constraint that multiple model inferences were performed in embedded computers in real time. Also I developed all the pipelines for training, testing, finetuning, deploying and consuming custom computer vision models.
Software developer in computer vision solutions related to public transportation systems. In my main tasks I trained and finetuned Deep learning models to perform object detections and people tracking inside Bogota’s main public transportation system (Transmilenio). I Deployed custom models for tracking by using kalman filters and bayesian methods. Also I helped to develop an Mlops process in GCP servers to digest information from 354 cameras and generate reports in real time.
