About

I’m a web developer and community builder in the Cleveland area specializing in WordPress. My most recent role was the Head of Community at the premium WordPress freelancing platform, Codeable. I also served as a member of the global WordPress Incident Response Team and was a long-time contributor to the WordPress open source project.

I’ve been developing websites for clients since 2012, specializing in WordPress and PHP. For many years I organized and spoke at WordPress Meetups and conferences – both in the Cleveland area and across the country. For a while, I also co-hosted a WordPress podcast.

The last three years I spent managing a community of 700+ freelance web developers, helping them with client/project management, managing the education and certification programs we provided, and helping them to niche and network. During my time at Codeable, I was also responsible for interviewing and onboarding new freelancers to the platform.

I first learned to code on Neopets. 🙂
