I create unique interactive sound and music systems using tools such as C++, MaxMSP, Arduino, Teensy and 3D printing.

A large part of my work is education, having worked as a lecturer for undergraduate and postgraduate courses for several years.

I develop synthesisers, MIDI controllers, interactive installations and websites, a few of which you can see on my website www.matt-jackson.co.uk. My work has been featured across a variety of platforms including BBC radio, BBC.co.uk, in Music Tech magazine and at Future Everything festival.
