With RD, I work as a senior frontend engineer where I'm mainly responsible for building and maintaining internal and user-facing tools and applications alongside an awesome team.

Senior Frontend Engineer

NFGCS is one of the leading Agricultural Investment platforms in Nigeria. Here, I was responsible for developing the microservices and cloud-native application that runs the entire investment platform built primarily on a Node.js core backend and Laravel Server to handle admin related tasks. This helped increase overall investors and increased sales of investment packages for the NFGCS community. As a lead engineer, I managed the teams and ensured deliverables were met within stipulated timelines.


Lead Fullstack Engineer

I worked with the ESO Electronics agile development team to maintain and extend its existing in-house CRM application and the Frappe Opensource project. I designed modern reusable UI components in Vue.js to improve the overall user experience on the client-side of the applications, I was also responsible for extending features on its backend services built on top of ERPNext.

Fullstack Developer | Contractor

As a backend engineer at Gigabyte Developers, I mostly worked on outsourced products for clients within and outside the country. I developed and maintained REST API services for various platforms including E-commerce, Fintech, and Social media applications, within that period of time, as well as design Mobile Client applications for different Business and Startup needs.

Lead Backend Engineer

I worked as a lead front-end engineer at Hatixa Solutions focused on the development and maintenance of several in-house B2B and eCommerce applications to aid smooth user experience on their media management, advertisement, and user rewards platforms. I was primarily responsible for managing the frontend team of 5 to design and build clean user-friendly UI,  building and maintaining microservices, and integrating those services with 3rd party platforms.

Frontend Engineer

As a contractor, I worked alongside a team to develop and launch the F.A.Y.A (For All Your Advertising) platform - A digitalized local advertising startup that was aimed to increase user interaction with local advertising agencies in Nigeria and in the UK. I was responsible for maintaining and refactoring legacy code on the backend and rebuilding the client-side application written in HTML and JQuery to Vue.js. This improved load time on the sites and overall user experience across devices. I handled the deployment of the newly developed FAYA platform to progressive web applications and cross-platform desktop apps.

Lead Frontend Engineer | Contractor

As Tech lead and facilitator at WiFi Combat Academy, I taught and mentored a team of facilitators and instructors for The Code Week Nigeria 2017 and 2018. Developed in-house Learning programs, curriculums, and materials for teachers and young learners across the country. I oversaw the training of students for the Oracle Hackathon 2017 in technologies ranging from Mobile Application Development with Phonegap, Game Development with Java, and 3D Animation in Alice. As Tech Lead, I was responsible for hiring and training new and existing facilitators.
