From the early days when I used to train end-users in Microsoft Office, I've always loved the classroom interaction. With 20+ years in the business, most of my teaching time is now spent in C#, ASP.NET, HTML / CSS / JavaScript, and MS Azure. I mix in enough short-term consulting gigs that I can speak with some authority about how things are used "in the real world".

I believe my skill in training is not just product knowledge, but how to make code "sing and dance"-- It's not enough to know the syntax, a real grasp of the skill comes from knowing how and where to use a certain kind of code pattern. I do enjoy seeing the light bulb go on for people when concept becomes a skill.
