Hi, I'm Jay Wilburn and I'm a software engineer and a code fanatic from Chicago, IL. I mostly do full stack development using JavaScript (Vue, React, Node, Rails) but I am also a UI/UX designer and also have years of experience using Figma and Photoshop. I truly love what I do. Work Experience
Worked on a cybersecurity risk software application for CISO and other security professionals. They were acquired.
Created and rebuilt the newest version of the application with reusable components using JavaScript, Vue, Pinia, Node, and helped build parts the API using Ruby on Rails on the backend.
Implemented some of the RESTful API work and managed the integration with the front-end application.
Provide code reviews and write unit with Vitest
Mentored and provided technical guidance to other engineers, fostering their growth and development in the new application.
Work with the design team to bring proofs of concept into working and reusable components
