I've been writing front-end Javascript since I started out. In the beginnings it was all JQuery with state tied to hidden dom elements. After years of skill refinement, I'm now writing actual software (single-page apps). In my spare time, I toy with WebGL. I'm also writing game development tools.

I've also been writing HTML and CSS since the start. I have CSS memorized. I believe the sad truth is that CSS needs to be memorized for someone to be proficient with it. I'd like to put my memory to better use since this seems to be the area where people have the most trouble.

I host websites and web apps for my friends and family from my VPS. I have also been in charge of server administration and light devops responsibilities for a few companies in the past. One of the main things people ask for my help with: "Can you help me set up my server?"

HTML was the first "language" I decided to learn. I was 16 years old and I used it with CSS to make "experimental" websites to impress friends. Been using it professionally since I started my career.
