I am a Seasoned Software engineer and Technical project manager with over 10 years of professional experience.
With experience working with small, medium and large organizations like Cleva, Anita Borg and Google; Ilo has what it takes to move a project from 'idea phase' to 'ready for market phase' and scaling to your first one million customer.
I currently lead the Senior Mobile Engineering team at Cleva, a YC-backed Startup that helps non-US residents to create USD accounts. Cleva currently has over 350,000 users around the world
Work Experience
Cleva is a YC-backed startup that helps non-US residents to open USD accounts from their countries with which they can receive payments from any country.
I built the current Cleva mobile app from scratch and so far we have processed over $150,000,000 for over 450,000 users.
My key responsibilities as Senior Mobile Engineer Team Lead include:
- Leading the development of mobile applications, ensuring high performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
- Making key architectural decisions and setting technical standards and best practices.
- Staying updated with the latest industry trends in mobile technologies and introducing relevant innovations and improvements to the team.
- Overseeing the entire development lifecycle of mobile applications, from concept and design right through to testing, deployment, and support.
- Leading, mentoring, and supporting team members to ensure their growth and professional development.
- Communicating with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
