I'm an engineering lead with strategic and tactical skills developed over 25 years in the industry. I'm most technically strong in cloud architecture, engineering and DevOps practices, and in leading engineeering teams in this space. I'm a firm believer that the business outcomes come first, and the tech follows.
Work Experience
Began with a tactical focus working with the engineering team on maturing and scaling up this data exchange SaaS platform, including refining engineering practices like security and CI/CD. Involved being very tactical and technically hands-on at the start, shifting to a more strategic CTO role as the business grew.
Leading the core engineering teams in this national role at Consegna Cloud. Providing senior level consultancy to clients around migration, architectural modernisation, and people/change. Working with senior leadership on process improvements to raise engineering quality and efficiency. Working with managers to enhance capability and sustain a culture of continuous improvement within our teams. Championed the cause of Competency Frameworks to assist with personal development, performance and career pathways. Subsequently built, launched and maintained the framework across all technical practices.
