All of my JavaScript, unless otherwise dictated by a client's specific coding convention, follows StandardJS Convention (https://standardjs.com/). I prefer to use ES6 / 7 with Babel with appropriate polyfills to ensure my solutions work on older browsers.

I have some experience using React, or more precisely, Preact - a lightweight version of React, on e-commerce and headless WordPress sites. I also have built tiny utility Shopify apps that leverage Shopify Polaris (https://polaris.shopify.com/) and Shopify GraphQL interface.  

I have vast experience with HTML5 / CSS and its dialects or preprocessors (SASS / LESS / post-css).

I use BEM to manage the complexity of HTML/CSS components while keeping my code reusable and easy to maintain. But I can adapt quickly to any convention or structure that clients require.

I always make sure my HTML markup is semantic, SEO-friendly, and accessible. 

I can use frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation but always find them to be bloated and not suitable for complex and highly customized designs. The best solution is to work with the client to develop internal guidelines, libraries or base components that express their development philosophy.

I have experience using Node.js frameworks such as Express or Koa to quickly setup microservices for clients. I am also familiar with launching microservices using AWS Lambda / Netlify Functions / Zeit Now Serverless.

In my free time, I try to automate most of my manual tasks (e.g. invoicing, site migration, code linting etc.) using a combination of Node.js and bash scripts.
