I joined the Research and Development Team to help them discover requirements, build new and maintain existing features around playful personalization apps for K-12, including but not limited to reading, writing, and math skills. For example, I was part of the team that built "Reading Lab ", which implements the "Science of Reading" theory and aims at helping kids to learn how to read. I also led an engineering team on a project called "Teacher Assistant", where we built an assistant to help teachers to assign activities to students according to their alignment with the core program a teacher follows and with the students grades. I was responsible for architecting our system and built the foundational parts of our advanced RAG system.

I worked as a Software Engineer, member of the Deep Learners team. I developed AI-based features, created proof-of-concept solutions for our RAG framework, and researched new ideas/tools to be used in our products. I was also responsible for building PoCs for emergent product ideas we had, performing database optimizations, and helping the company to develop a culture around evidence-based decision-making and experimentation.
