As of writing I have about 5 years of professional experience working as a Software Engineer on business applications and games in 2D and 3D. In addition to that I havbe worked on a lot of personal projects.
I am self-motivated, disciplined and get along with others great. I never get discouraged by challenging situations but I also don't just bang my head against the wall endlessly, I know when to ask for help.
In my spare time and for fun I pretty much just work on a side project or spend time with my family and I especially love winning against my wife in board games.
Please do note that I love to learn and whatever is needed for the job but is not currently in my toolset I will gladly learn and apply in record time!
I mainly work on developing a new plugin as well as maintain an old one in Godot 4. Plugins are used as an addition to the software product company is developing that incorporates Godot engine into it's use case.
Worked as a gameplay engineer in godot engine on a 3D cross-platform live-service game utilizing blockchain technology. I covered wide arrange of tasks from maintaining current features, adding character animations, implementing UI to implementing full on gamemodes and worked closely with the game lead.
Couple of the things I worked on and would like to highlight:
-implemented alone and helped to design the racing system for the game which included car racing, obstacle racing and hoverboard racing
-implemented alone an automated benchmarking system which would by running a single python script, export the application for mobile, upload it to browserstack, run it on assigned devices and write the data to google sheets for review
-implemented a lot of visual effects using shaders
-implemented WWise audio
