Used JavaScript since day 0 in the browser (Netscape), I've used it in advanced contexts like implementing Ajax before this name even existed.

When Node.js came out, I've experienced something weird using JavaScript without DOM and with full access to underlying OS, but suddenly I felt it was the future of high-scalable server-side apps.

Using the same language both on client and server can be also a huge advantage.

As a mobile user and a developer, I'm a huge fan of Android and I've developed quite a long experience with it.

Probably the best language running on the .NET platform, I've always liked it a lot cause of its resemblance to Java but also its innovative level.

I've used it to build huge systems built for data manipulation accessed through web applications.

My second language (first was BASIC v2 on Commodore VIC-20), started using it on the Commodore Amiga, then on MS-DOS/Windows system, through, in more recent days, on Linux and macOS.

Very deep knowledge of the inner workings, I can also do some C++ but I'm not so up to date with it.

SQL is still one of the best ways to access databases and I'm still using it in my daily activity.

Probably the best thing happened to Microsoft before Azure, I loved and used it a lot when it came out because of its smart and clear design from the ground up.

Clearly a Java clone, with it Microsoft managed to offer a flexible platform finally making developers' life easier after the VisualBasic/VisualC crazy years.

I've used MySQL in many different contexts (ecommerce, blogging, data storage, etc) and I know it quite well.

For sure a very easy, reliable and fast relational database system.

The VCS of the present day, I can use it in a quite natural way, even if I'm not an expert.

I think MongoDB has been one of the most interesting NoSQL databases as it could be easily adopted by old-style companies with huge RDBMS/SQL skills.

I've used it in a few projects both small and large.

Huge bonuses are its feature set (uncommon with NoSQL dbs) and the easiness of installation and management at infrastructure level.
