Summary

My passion of all things cyber began with 3 boxes of computer parts and a manual given to me by my father as a birthday present. Now degreed, with several military and civilian certifications and over a decade of DOD IT & Information Security experience behind me, I have the unique experience of being able to view cybersecurity from many different aspects - including Web and Sharepoint Developer, System and Network Administrator, CIO, IAM, ISSE, ISSM and Auditor. Having taught either in person or online the majority of my professional career, I proactively seek out opportunities whenever I can by sharing with others concerning Information Security, Assurance, and Risk Management. A Subject Matter Expert in Cybersecurity specializing in cloud, container, and web applications, I am often called upon as both an Operational and Academic Resource for DOD organizations and civilian companies.

I'm passionate about all aspects of Cybersecurity. More than anything I love SHARING that passion with others. Seeing the "AH HA!" moment for my students and the excitement that generates in them, knowing their new experiences and insights will creating amazing professional growth and opportunity for them! I currently instruct in online courses in CISSP, Security + and CISM and tutor cybersecurity, as well as working as a SME for the DOD.

I built these public facing sites for the hospital and its 10 clinics through the United States. Likewise matching private internal sites were built, with a robust interconnectivity and DMZ with over 500 sub-sites, 800 security groups, 6000 libraries and 9OK+ items. I also built the Sharepoint farm infrastructure from a HW and system/network administrative level from bare bones, to include system hardening and patching.
