Working at AWS as a Systems Development Engineer (II) on a large scale cloud project. Responsible for core AWS services in Elastic Compute and EBS.
Lead engineer for on-device/cloud software. Designed and implemented a Yocto/Bitbake embedded linux system and services for on-device control, integration of third party services, and cloud communication (MQTT). Implemented on-device update for host-controller, local control systems (CoAP(s)) and update over serial of peripherals. Delivered project from inception to completion of first version as lead engineer, and successfully launched. Product certified with Amazon (Alexa), Apple (Airplay), and Spotify (Connect).
