I have over 4 years of hands-on experience supporting, configuring and automating mission-critical deployments on major cloud platforms, leveraging CI/CD, configuration management and Infrastructure as Code tools and processes whilst aiming to help organizations ship software faster, securely and efficiently.
I am also a mentor. I love teaching technology, especially cloud engineering.

Work Experience
Built, maintained, and refactored CI/CD pipelines for our core applications using Bitbucket Pipelines and GitHub Actions to improve cycle time and increase operational efficiency.
Actively managed cloud infrastructure on Azure comprising virtual machines, app services, databases etc including backups, disaster recovery, patching and scaling.
Piloted the adoption of work tracking tools such as Jira and Azure Boards to improve developer productivity.
Reduced production downtime caused by human errors by implementing deployment approvals for production deployments thereby improving application reliability.
Established observability by setting up and integrating our infrastructure on Grafana Cloud
I was responsible for the management and security of application infrastructure on AWS.
My achievements include:
Managed a scalable AWS environment consisting of EC2 Instances, RDS, AWS ECS, Route53, and AWS Fargate.
Maintained and refactored CI/CD Pipelines using CircleCI thereby improving cycle time.
Implemented Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) modules with Aqua on our AWS Environment.
Implemented event-based notifications for our infrastructure leveraging Slack ChatOps.
