At Ceragon I start as a Senior Software Engineer and moved to Team Lead position. I am responsible of one of the NMS projects of Ceragon for all technological aspects and for development. Also I lead the development of a new big data product. I lead a team of 2 developers working on 2-3 projects at same time. My responsibilities are from technical (development, design and architect products) to people management as a team lead.

Team Lead - Java NMS

Schlumberger is the world’s leading supplier of technology, integrated project management and information solutions to customers working in the oil and gas industry worldwide. First SPT Group and then in Schlumberger Information Solutions I am part of a highly experienced software engineers team. I start to work on MEPO software, a optimizer for reservoir engineering workflow in oil and gas industry. As a software engineer I am involved in all development phases from inception to delivery working TDD in an agile environment. MEPO product is a client server application developed in java. I enjoy using java swing, guice, maven, git to name a few technologies, somtimes in pair programming. Starting from July 2014 I work on C# technology to develop U&O module of Petrel platform.

Senior Software Engineer

Analytika is a subsidiary of AMSBG company. Arbeitsmarktservice BetriebsgmbH & Co KG (AMSBG) is the leading private-sector IT service provider in Austria and Romania specializing in turn-key IT solutions for the public employment services sector. As a spearhead of innovation with long-term experience in the service provider business, AMSBG can rely on an in-depth knowledge of employment market business and organization processes. As a employee of Analytika I was involved in a couple of projects for AMSBG company, an expert application for ANOFM (National Agency for Employment) and a job portal. During the projects I had many roles, from team leader to project manager. As a project leader I was involved in project management, the application architecture, the complete product lifecycle, analysis, technical solutions, architecture, data migration, customer relations. As a project leader I managed a team of maximum 7 developers and a testing team. For the expert application project I achieved to deliver a package of 3 modules (from 22 in total) with a very good feedback from the client. For the job portal I achieved to put in production the application. To successfully meat the delivery I managed a team of 2 developers (one was mine) and a testing team. All of this was possible with support from all other people involved. I play also an architect role redesigning the applications architecture to meet new requirements and architect an integration system to communicate with external applications and other customer systems. Both projects are JEE applications based on standard enterprise technologies JSF 1.2 or 2.0, EJB 3.0, JPA 2, also on Spring 3.1, RichFaces 4, IceFaces 1.8, JBOSS Seam, JasperReports, TestNG, Junit and deployed on WebSphere, working on DB2 database. The applications lifecycle is managed with maven and jenkins.

Project Leader / Team Leader

I was involved in development of the IT system of SNEF Group being part of a distributed team in Marseille, France and Bucharest, Romania. I lead a team of 3 developers for an ERP application; I achieved to meet the dead lines with a good quality. My roles involved technical analysis, software development, code review, manage and leading the development team. I had managed to improve the code quality by using TeamCity (a continuous integration server) and use of code coverage and code analysis tools. The application was developed on J2EE technology with JSF, EJB deployed on JBOSS, persist data into Oracle data base and build with maven.

Team leader - Senior software engineer

Alvarion is the world’s leading provider of innovative wireless network solutions enabling personal broadband services over WiMAX to improve lifestyles and productivity with portable and mobile data, VoIP, video and other applications. Providing systems to carrier. I was involved in an NMS project for WiMAX products and had responsibilities for software design, software architecture, development, integration and testing. I improved the n-tier application by redesigning a couple of modules. I work close with my technical manager and I provide very good solutions. I successfully design, developed, test and integrate a solution to handle software upgrades, a difficult task because not all clients used the last version of the application. One of my strong points was my telecom background that helps me to deeply understand the business.

NMS Senior Software Engineer

The IMF was a distributed core java application working on both SS7 and TCP/IP networks. At Avalanche I play a role of Senior Engineer and I was involved in full lifecycle of a couple of modules. Based on marketing requirements I create analysis, software specifications, software design, implement, unit test, integration test and integration with the rest of modules. The module design was done with UML. I successfully manage to do all the task in time. Also I design and implement an ASN.1 PER java library for encode/decode billing files.

Senior Software Developer

Through its Information Technology and Communications Division, UTI develops complex solutions appropriate for information technology and communications systems. As a junior developer I was involved in development of a couple modules of the application under direct supervise of the team leader. I achieved to do my task in time and to further develop my java skills (core and j2ee). The project was a distributed application in J2EE technology based on Struts framework, EJB and Oracle database.

Software developer

Development of Internet banking in J2EE technology based on an in house MVC framework, EJB 2.1 and Oracle database. The project aim to port the old mainframe application to enterprise and to offer internet banking services for the bank clients. My role was a junior developer, I was involved in development of the credit module and I achieved to learn a lot and to develop all the tasks I received from my team leader. The task was done in good quality and in time as we agreed.

Programmer

The company was founded by a very enthusiastic students friends. Main business directions was Internet application development and hardware integrator. I was in charge with Internet application department: development and sales, Internet solution consultant, concept and implementation of e-commerce solutions.

IT & Commercial manager

Most of the application I worked are big enterprise that deal with SQL database. I am involved from database design to maintenance  phase, I deal with performance improvements for queries and also for databases servers.

All the code I wrote I try to cover with test, either unit tests or integration tests. I prefer to apply TDD when it's possible.

I have deep knowledge about maven, I used to manage my projects.

Since i become a senior developer I play different roles covering design and architecture phases of complex applications. As a software architect/designer first I try the technologies/solutions I propose, I benchmark them and only after that I propose a solution.

I use git for work projects as for my personal projects.

I used jpa for persistence in enterprise applications.
