I never thought I will be using Javascript full time for work - as I am not a front-end developer per se - But switching from C# to Javascript have been an amazing experience. Despite all the bad press that Javascript gets, I believe it's quirky nature allows for some great flexibility and expressiveness. With Node, Javascript has finally arrived and become more powerful than ever.

I've picked up C# from the very early days - when I used to think it is very much like Java in many ways. I've worked on both desktop and web applications using C# and I've used a lot of design patterns in this language.

Node is a new found love. It's been an amazing experience to switch from C# to javascript for my full time work. I really think npm packages are really awesome and with all the toolings available at this time in the node environment, it really makes up for a great programming experience.

.NET has been my bread and butter for years. I've really enjoyed working in the visual studio environment.

Git is the only version control I use at this time. I think the rebase-workflow is really great for distributed team.

A good test coverage is essential for delivering quality software - I am a big fan of Test Driven Development. I really embrace this in all the projects that I start.
