I am a senior developer based in Calgary, Canada. I have 20 years experience in SDLC. My career has enabled me to work on varied and exciting projects all over the world, from the UK, to Australia, to USA and Canada. I am very lucky to be able to say that I love my job!

My core tech stack is C#, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, Python, web services, XML, Azure.

When I am not working at my day job or personal projects I like to visit codementor to help other people get ahead in their projects. I believe that I can learn new things by teaching others. I like to share my knowledge with others and see projects progress.

Away from technology I love to get out into nature. You will often find me kayaking, hiking and scuba diving. I also enjoy watching horror films and playing football and pool.

Windows RT LOB grocery application

I was working in Australia on a proof of concept application for the largest grocery store in the country. People could place online orders for groceries and the app would listen out for new orders (WCF service). Then, a staff member in store would use the app to fulfill the order. The app told the employee which products the customer had ordered, but also the most convenient way to collect the items (grouping).
