Working in factored, I was placed in one of its clients as a DataOps Engineer in a platform team. This client has several data streaming services running and several databases. Some pipelines run over 50 million messages per second. In this client, my team and I are responsible for creating the platform for other teams to use.

Data Engineer

Main Projects: Swiftline<ul><li>Create Python-driven pipelines to bring data from different sources and create analysis on top of those pipelines.</li><li>At this level of the project, no other tool or cloud was used. Only pure python with pandas and several other libs to create both the pipeline and all the analysis.</li></ul>

Data Science Engineer

BairesDev is an outsourcing company that offers three services: IT Staff augmentation, software outsourcing, and delivery teams. Main Projects: PatientPoint<ul><li>Integrate two data environments from two companies that recently merged. </li><li>Using Airflow (on-premise and Astronomer managed instances) to create the pipelines and bring data from several different data sources to be used in Analytical decision-making processes. </li></ul>Dude Solutions <ul><li>Migration of an on-premise system using several clusters with Hadoop, spark, Cassandra, Postgres, and Airflow to a more manageable environment in AWS using mainly DMS, S3, CDK, Glue, and Redshift.</li></ul>QuantCollective <ul><li>Marketing analysis, Growth analysis, and DBT project.</li></ul>

Avenue Code is an outsourcing company. Main Projects: Fanatics <ul><li>Using Scala Spark on EMR normalize schemas from different sources incoming as Kafka topics.</li></ul>

Grafeno is a fresh new fintech in Brazil that deals as a bridge between companies looking for credit and companies that offers that credit. Grupo Prever, a family company with 700+ employees and 20 years of experience, originated in funeral services and now offers health, insurance, and other services. The company is committed to maintaining data integrity and access in accordance with Brazilian and international laws (including GDPR) and best practices like the Data Management Book of Knowledge.Responsibilities include developing information governance and data access policies, overseeing Business and Market Intelligence, reporting services, and data stewardship. The company has undertaken five main projects:<ol type="1"><li>Data Driven Culture: Grupo Prever lacked a data culture due to its family-oriented administration. This project aimed to provide factual and analytical support for decision-making processes.</li><li>Data Integration: With over 60 computational systems in various databases, the project focused on consolidating valuable information from these disparate sources to reduce the time between information retrieval and decision-making.</li><li>Data Warehouse and Data Lake Creation: To enable faster processing, better insights, and quicker dashboards, the company established a new cloud infrastructure on Amazon AWS, utilizing S3, Athena, AWS Glue, EMR, Redshift, and Lambda.</li><li>Customer and Business Commercial Profile Creation: Using regression, clustering, and classification algorithms, this project analyzed customer, sales, product, and other data to generate valuable insights for commercial and strategic departments.
