- Redesign Kubernetes cluster for connected services platform to allow for easier maintenance with less downtime. - Influence the team in encouraging simplification of CI/CD pipelines and code reuse, allowing for easier management and troubleshooting. - Coach and mentor newer team members to work with critical systems such as the publicly available connected services platform. - Spearhead new containerized Jenkins system using Jenkins Operator on Kubernetes, reducing downtime and allowing for more job concurrency. - Import outdated Cloudformation based infrastructure into Terraform, allowing for more thorough management of infrastructure and paving the way for utilizing the GitOps framework. - Configure AWS service level monitoring using CloudWatch, helping to prevent additional application downtime. - Develop using Python, Ruby, and AWS Lambda for custom solutions to common problems. - Work closely with development and AMS teams to understand current needs and areas most in need of attention.
