What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Provide technical and thought leadership to the enterprise in multiple areas
• Collaborate with product managers, team members, and customers to solve complex problems
• Develop and execute a technical software development strategy for the Observability Engineering domain
• Mentor and coach engineering and product community members while sharing best practices
• Analyze costs and forecasts, incorporating them into business plans to ensure desired outcomes

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• 3+ years of professional experience in software development and platform architecture
• Hands-on experience building complex distributed systems with knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Advanced knowledge of at least one OOP language such as Java, Go, or Python
• Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or hybrid data center environments
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• 3+ years of experience in open-source frameworks
• 1+ years of experience with architecture and design
• Knowledge of big data and streaming data pipeline architecture
• Experience with open-source tools like GIT, Jenkins, or CircleCI
• Familiarity with machine learning and AI technologies
