Role Overview
Were seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to lead concept-to-delivery creative across brand, marketing, and e-commerce product touchpoints. You will elevate our visual identity, craft high-impact campaigns, mentor designers, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive measurable outcomes for growth-focused DTC and retail brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the brand visual system across channels (web, landing pages, email/SMS, social, ads, and sales collateral).
- Translate e-commerce and marketing strategies into compelling visual narratives and multi-asset campaigns.
- Lead concept development, mood boards, storyboards, style frames, and creative direction for key launches and promos.
- Design high-quality static and motion assets: product imagery, infographics, data visuals, animations, and short-form videos.
- Maintain and extend design systems, brand guidelines, templates, and asset libraries for speed and consistency.
- Collaborate with Growth, Performance Marketing, CRM, and Dev to align creative with business goals and performance metrics.
- Provide art direction to in-house designers, freelancers, and agencies; review work and give actionable feedback.
- Manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders; scope work and estimate effort accurately.
- Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and export best practices across formats and platforms.
- Uphold high standards for craft, file hygiene, version control, and documentation.
Qualifications
- 610 years of professional graphic design experience, including brand/marketing and e-commerce design; agency or in-house experience required.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating concept development, systems thinking, and execution across digital and print; e-commerce examples preferred.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Figma/Sketch, and presentation tools.
- Solid motion/animation capabilities in After Effects or similar; familiarity with social video formats and specs is a plus.
- Experience building and maintaining brand guidelines and scalable design systems.
- Strong typography, color, layout, and composition skills; keen attention to detail and consistency.
- Comfort with data visualization and simplifying complex information; experience designing for CRO and experimentation.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and creative rationale skills.
- Ability to mentor other designers and provide constructive critique.
- Bachelors degree in Design, Visual Communication, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with DTC brands, retail, CPG, beauty, apparel, or adjacent e-commerce verticals.
- Knowledge of web basics (HTML/CSS export specs, responsive behavior) and collaboration with developers on Shopify.
- Experience with performance creatives (paid social, display, landing pages) and A/B testing frameworks.
- Illustration, 3D, or generative design skills.
- Familiarity with DAM/asset management and workflow tools (Asana/Jira/Notion).
