Location: Remote

Compensation

  • South Africa (SA): $3,500-$4,500/month

Our mission is to deliver high-quality services across diverse sectors while fostering strong customer relationships and sustainable growth. The organization is experiencing rapid expansion and seeks a strategic marketing and sales leader to drive aggressive growth goals and establish scalable systems across its multi-brand portfolio.

Position Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Director of Marketing & Sales to lead revenue generation across multiple brands and industries. This senior-level role combines strategic thinking, hands-on execution, resourcefulness, and proven sales capabilities. The ideal candidate will conduct independent market research, create comprehensive marketing campaigns, manage budgets creatively, and directly engage in sales to achieve aggressive growth targets.

Immediate Priority: Achieve 95%+ occupancy in residential park properties within 6 months (filling ~150-200 vacant sites).

Ongoing Responsibility: Expand marketing campaigns to other brands in the portfolio, including environmental services.

This is a high-autonomy entrepreneurial role requiring the ability to build systems, pivot across industries, and maximize results with limited resources.

Core Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing Leadership (40%)

  • Market research & strategic planning
  • Campaign development & management (paid & organic channels, email funnels, landing pages)
  • Creative execution & brand management (copywriting, Canva/Adobe, video, brand consistency)
  • Analytics & continuous optimization (tracking, A/B testing, CAC/LTV reporting)

Sales & Revenue Generation (40%)

  • Direct sales execution (outbound prospecting, inbound response, virtual tours, closing)
  • Sales system development (scripts, CRM workflows, lead scoring, funnels)
  • Partnership & business development (referrals, corporate relationships, networking)

Systems, Operations & Leadership (20%)

  • Implement and manage CRM systems
  • Automate workflows, document processes, train future team members
  • Reporting & communication to executive leadership

Performance Objectives

6-Month Success Timeline

  • Phase 1 (Months 1-3): Rapid launch, aggressive outbound activity, occupancy 90-92%
  • Phase 2 (Months 4-6): Final push to 95%+ occupancy, launch campaigns for additional brands, multi-brand system development

KPIs Include

Cost per lead* Lead-to-resident conversion > 15%
Inquiry response* Outbound activity: 75-100 touchpoints/week

  • Email marketing: 25%+ open rate, 3%+ click rate
    CAC

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years in marketing & sales leadership with documented success
  • Direct marketing campaign creation & execution experience
  • Proven ability to meet/exceed aggressive revenue/occupancy targets
  • Technical proficiency: Facebook Ads, Google Ads, CRM platforms, Canva/Adobe, analytics, email marketing
  • Sales capabilities: consultative sales, high-volume prospecting, process documentation

Core Competencies: Strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, entrepreneurial mindset, scrappy problem-solving, hands-on execution, native/fluent English

Preferred: Real estate/property management or hospitality experience, multi-brand marketing experience, video production/editing, SEO/content marketing, team building
