About The Role

As a Client Experience Visual Designer, you will drive our clients’ long-term success, happiness, and overall experience. In this role, you are responsible for making website updates for our growing list of insurance agency clients. Requests typically range from simple page updates, blog post additions, and other routine tweaks to more complex page layout and design projects.

All of our websites are built on the same Forge platform and theme using WordPress, WPBakery, and a collection of standard web design elements. Given the dynamic and unpredictable nature of client requests, you must be able to juggle multiple tasks at the same time, while setting expectations for yourself and our clients. Having some level of experience designing and updating WordPress websites is critical in this role, as is having great communication skills (especially via email).

Compensation This position offers $45,000 based on qualifications and experience

Primary Responsibilities & Expectations

Make website updates using WordPress and other standard web design elements to meet client needs/requests within the confines of our Forge website platform and workflows
Coordinate/perform inbound website change requests ranging from basic address changes and other content updates to complex new page builds and design changes
Serve as product expert by answering client questions, sharing best practices, making recommendations, and collaborating on client resources
Promptly address client inquiries, issues, and/or feedback and provide proper follow-up to ensure client satisfaction
Work closely with Client Experience Coordinators to understand client and company goals
Proactively communicate with clients and the internal team via phone, email, and web meetings to ensure expectations are met and exceeded
Leverage client feedback and requests to assist in developing new ideas for product tools and features to enhance the client experience.
Collaborate with various departments to create a consistent and positive client experience
Participate in ongoing team meetings to review ideas, feedback, and related activity
Leverage our full suite of cutting-edge tools and apps, including Google G Suite, Slack, and others.

Skills And Qualifications

WordPress and website design experience (WPBakery experience preferred)
Knowledge and understanding of basic CSS/HTML
Must be detail oriented, organized, and able to juggle multiple priorities with grace. Your job is to organize chaos!
Must be self-motivated and able to function independently and within a team structure
Must have strong writing skills (we send a lot of messages to our customers).
Must be able to manage expectations, set schedules, and ensure deliverables are on track as agreed to
Great interpersonal skills (many departments will rely on you, and you'll rely on them; it's a lot easier if you're a people person)
Must be quick "on your feet" and able to field questions and challenges as they happen
Must have excellent follow-up and follow-through skills
Experience working with Google G Suite and other online tools is desired. The ability to quickly learn these and other tools is more important, however

Requirements

While FMG is a remote first employer, the Operations Team has made the strategic decision to focus their hiring efforts in the Bethlehem, PA area. This decision enables the team to maintain the ability to gather together in person for social, collaboration & training needs. As a member of this team you will have the chance to attend in person events as applicable. Training in the Bethlehem office is required so you will be asked to travel to the office for in person training as well as attend virtual training.
Must be able to work an 8am-6pm EST shift schedule.
