Our client in the food space is hiring an Email Marketing Manager!
The Role
This isn’t a design-heavy or brand-focused role—it’s for someone who gets excited about optimizing flows, digging into data, and finding new ways to increase LTV. You’ll own retention strategy across email, SMS, and subscription, with a strong focus on systems and performance over aesthetics.
Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and optimize Klaviyo flows (welcome, post-purchase, winback, etc.)
- Manage SMS campaigns and automations via Postscript
- Own subscription retention strategy via Skio (churn reduction, upsell flows, etc.)
- Analyze performance, test ideas, and implement high-leverage improvements
- Collaborate cross-functionally with CX, marketing, and product teams to align retention efforts
- Report weekly on retention KPIs and actionable insights
Must-Haves
- 2–4 years of experience in retention marketing at a DTC brand, working directly with direct mail and subscriptions
- Deep knowledge of Klaviyo, Postscript, and ideally Skio
- Strong analytical mindset—you know how to run tests and interpret data
- Experience working with subscription businesses and building customer journeys
- Process-oriented, detail-obsessed, and eager to optimize
- Excited about working in a fast-growing startup and contributing to something meaningful
- Basic coding skills (HTML, CSS, and MJML)
