Job Description — Head – Digital Marketing & Consumer Growth (D2C)

Role Purpose:

We are looking for Digital Marketing & Consumer Growth leader to drive the organisation's end-to-end digital marketing strategy across consumer-facing brands.

The role will own digital brand building, performance marketing, media strategy, social and content, digital analytics, influencer marketing, website/SEO and digital commerce, while leading internal teams and multiple specialist agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and lead the overall digital marketing strategy and annual digital roadmap aligned with brand and business objectives.
• Drive integrated digital campaigns across Google, Meta, YouTube, programmatic, social, search, display and online video.
• Own performance marketing and full-funnel consumer acquisition, including campaign optimisation, conversion, CAC, CPA, ROAS and ROI.
• Lead digital media planning, buying and budget allocation, ensuring effective channel mix and investment efficiency.
• Develop the organisation's social media and content strategy, including platform strategy, content calendars, community engagement and campaign execution.
• Drive influencer and creator marketing, from strategy and partner selection through campaign execution and performance measurement.
• Oversee SEO, website performance, landing-page optimisation and organic search growth.
• Establish strong digital measurement frameworks covering GA4, attribution, conversion tracking, campaign dashboards and marketing analytics.
• Partner with brand and commercial teams to strengthen D2C, e-commerce, marketplace and digital-commerce growth.
• Integrate digital marketing with broader brand, ATL, BTL, retail and consumer engagement initiatives.
• Lead and develop the internal digital marketing team while managing digital, media, creative, performance, influencer and SEO agencies.
• Own substantial digital/media budgets, ensuring disciplined allocation and measurable business returns.
• Partner closely with Brand, Sales, E-commerce, Product, Technology and other functions to create seamless consumer journeys.
• Identify emerging digital platforms, technologies and consumer trends and translate them into scalable growth opportunities.

Candidate Profile:

• 15+ years of overall professional experience, with substantial experience in digital marketing and consumer marketing.
• Strong preference for experience with FMCG, consumer goods, consumer products, beauty, personal care, food & beverage, consumer durables, retail, D2C or e-commerce brands.
• Demonstrated ownership of digital strategy, rather than only campaign execution.
• Strong hands-on understanding of performance marketing, paid media, media planning and campaign optimisation.
• Experience managing platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, YouTube and programmatic media.
• Strong exposure to social media, content, influencer/creator marketing, SEO, website and digital analytics.
• Experience driving D2C/e-commerce consumer acquisition and conversion will be highly valued.
• Proven experience managing multiple agencies and external partners.
• Strong team leadership and people-development capability.
• Experience managing sizeable digital/media budgets with ROI and ROAS accountability.
• Strong understanding of consumer behaviour, brand building and integrated marketing.
• MBA / PGDM in Marketing or a related discipline preferred.
