We are looking for a Senior Content Marketing Manager for our client to work remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting a comprehensive research report (approximately 9,000 words) based on survey data collected from Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs). Ideal candidates will have proven expertise in data-driven storytelling and producing long-form written content.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to analyze and interpret survey data provided by an external research vendor.
- Develop a cohesive and engaging narrative structure for a long-form report, clearly organizing insights into structured chapters that effectively convey the story behind the data.
- Conduct interviews with internal experts to gather insights and commentary that complement the data, including actionable recommendations from clients specialists.
- Identify and suggest impactful pull quotes, data visualizations, and chart placements to enhance the report's clarity and engagement.
- Review and proofread the report layout to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand standards.
- Produce supplementary content to support the report launch, such as landing pages and blog articles.
- Maintain alignment with clients editorial standards, voice, and tone throughout all content deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B content marketing, with a strong focus on cybersecurity or enterprise software.
- Proven ability to create content that effectively engages and influences senior executive audiences (e.g., CISOs, CTOs, CIOs).
- Expertise in developing long-form content such as eBooks and research reports, with a portfolio of recent samples.
- Strong analytical abilities with a talent for drawing insights and conclusions from complex datasets.
- Exceptional writing and editorial skills with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and storytelling.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify and convey complex information.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset.
- Knowledge of data visualization techniques and familiarity with survey design principles is a plus.
- Experience in product or solutions marketing is desirable.
