The Role: Senior SEM / Digital Marketing Strategist

We’re seeking a Google Ads expert to take ownership of a portfolio of 5–8 high-growth e-commerce clients. This is a hands-on role, focused on execution, optimization, and data-backed performance improvements.

You’ll be managing campaigns across Search, Shopping, PMax, YouTube, and Demand Gen — and expected to contribute insights, not just follow instructions.

✅ What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities)

🔧 Campaign Execution (60%)

• Build, manage & optimize Google Ads campaigns (Search, Shopping, PMax, YouTube, Demand Gen)
• Monitor pacing, budgets, and performance metrics
• Launch builds independently based on strategic direction

🧪 Testing & Channel Expansion (20%)

• Execute creative testing strategies provided by leadership
• Recommend audience, funnel, and landing page experiments
• Explore new platforms (Reddit Ads, Amazon DSP, CTV — nice to have)

📊 Optimization & Reporting (20%)

• Analyze ROAS, CAC, and incrementality with GA and Ads Manager
• Identify performance trends and optimization opportunities
• Support Director with key insights and performance updates

🤝 Client Collaboration

• Join monthly and/or bi-weekly client calls (not the main POC)
• Keep internal teams updated with performance summaries

🧠 What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)Must-Haves

✔ 5+ years experience in Google Ads (Search, Shopping, PMax, YouTube, Demand Gen)

✔ 5+ years overall in digital marketing, ideally e-commerce focused or revenue-performance driven

✔ Proven ability to scale campaigns profitably (ROAS or CAC targets)

✔ Experience managing accounts with $20K–$200K+ in monthly ad spend

✔ Proficient in Google Merchant Center, Google Analytics, and Excel/Sheets

✔ Deep understanding of DTC funnels and attribution

Nice-to-Haves

➕ Shopify familiarity

➕ Looker Studio / Tag Manager

➕ Attribution tools (Triple Whale, Northbeam, etc.)

➕ Experience with Reddit Ads, CTV, or Amazon DSP
