Senior UI/UX designer - PT - WW

About the role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to join our team on a contract basis to refine the user flow and enhance the visual design of our wedding planning platform. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both UI and UX design. This is a part-time position with flexible working hours, allowing you to bring creativity and innovation to our platform at your convenience.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze the current prototype to identify areas for improvement in user flow and overall design.
• Collaborate with the product and development teams to iterate on design concepts and bring a polished look to the platform.
• Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Ensure the visual design aligns with the brand identity and enhances the user experience.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine and improve the design iteratively.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and best practices to incorporate them into the project.

Required and Preferred Skills:

• Proven experience as a UI/UX designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile design projects.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
• Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in B2C.
• Familiarity with front-end development frameworks such as HTML, CSS, and Typescript.
• Experience in creating animations or interactive elements to enhance user engagement.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and how to implement them in design.
• Passion for wedding planning and a deep understanding of the user personas typically involved in this process.
