About the Company:

We are building a two-sided marketplace for home service providers, including plumbers, electricians, cleaners, and more, with plans to expand into other categories such as legal, tax, and beauty services. Our platform prioritizes transparency and high SEO visibility, making the website a key component of our growth.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Web Designer to create engaging, polished, and user-friendly website designs. You will be responsible for designing the full website experience, including wireframes, visual designs, micro-interactions, and branding elements such as the logo. Daily communication with the founder and development team is required to ensure alignment and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design website layouts, wireframes, and interactive elements for a Next.js-based platform.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers to implement designs effectively.
• Provide creative input for micro-interactions and subtle animations to enhance user experience.
• Assist in branding, including logo design and cohesive visual identity.
• Refine existing mobile app designs and adapt them for web experiences.
• Ensure designs are responsive, visually appealing, and aligned with SEO best practices.
• Maintain clear, daily communication with the team to iterate on design feedback quickly.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in UI/UX design for web applications.
• Strong portfolio showcasing website design, branding, and interactive elements.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Understanding of web performance, responsive design, and accessibility.
• Ability to work remotely with daily communication across different time zones.
• Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with micro-interactions and subtle animations.
• Familiarity with Next.js or frontend development principles.
• Previous experience designing for marketplaces or multi-category platforms.
