Summary:
We are looking for someone that has the education and passion for UI and UX design to help us chart the course for the future of lending. We believe in the power of design to help guide the future of our products.
This role will work directly with the product team(s) in helping to craft the aesthetic look and feel, as well as user interaction of the product(s) they help to support.
You will be working with a cross functional team other UI/UX professionals, product owners, engineers, and business partners. User Experience is considered a competitive advantage and therefore you must collaborate with Product and Engineers to build an intuitive experience for our customer.
An ideal UI/UX Designer will think about the customer's journey over time as they interact with the product and with the company as a whole.
Responsibilities:
Accountable for the usability of the product.
Collaborate very closely with end users, business stakeholders, business partners and internal product team.
Constantly presenting and sharing designs and soliciting feedback.
Building out high fidelity designs as well as low fidelity, interaction focused wireframes.
Constantly testing their ideas with real users and customers through building and presenting MVP’s and Wireframes
Gathering feedback and updating design artifacts based on feedback from end users, stakeholders, business partners and internal team members.
Easily articulate the usability requirements of the system via design artifacts.
Understanding competitive product user experiences.
Participate in the Design Community of Practice to ensure team is building a consistent user experience across all of our products
Actively managing tradeoffs for design (user experience “debt”).
Contribute to unified design system manager.
Implement components of design system manager when and where appropriate.
Generates ideas where technology can impact business capabilities.
Provides role specific guidance/coaching/mentoring at team level.
Holds self-accountable to personal and team goals.
Provides coaching and guidance to team members.
Understanding of data around usability.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly motivated and passionate about UI, UX and Design.
Experience with different iterative software development methodologies.
Qualifications:
4 years degree or intensive UX/UI boot camp /program completion
3-4 years product design experience
Demonstrated drive to work directly with customers and stakeholders
Expert in product design software like Adobe suit, Sketch, Figma or InVision Studio
Ability to create interactive prototypes with tools like Invision or Figma
Experience in responsive across multiple platforms
