Senior AI Systems Engineer (Local Autonomous Agent) - Part-time - APAC/LATAM

About the project

We are a land development firm operating in South East Queensland, Australia. We are building an internal "Analyst Agent" to run 24/7 on a local Mac Mini M4 Pro (64GB RAM). We require a Senior Python Developer to architect and build a local autonomous pipeline to assist our acquisitions team with data processing and lead enrichment.

The Mission

Build and maintain an internal autonomous AI system (“Analyst Agent”) to support our land acquisitions team with:

• Deal flow automation and analytics
• Ownership enrichment
• Competitor intelligence and pricing insights
• Structured reporting and dashboards

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Build: Architect a local AI-driven data pipeline using agentic frameworks (OpenClaw, LangChain, or similar).
• Data Automation: Scheduled CSV ingestion, processing, and visualization of sales, stock, and pricing trends.
• Ownership Enrichment: Semi-automated browser workflows to retrieve legal owner and contact info from paid sources.
• Competitor Intelligence: Extract structured data from PDFs, Excel, and images; analyze trends over time.
• Reliability & Monitoring: Build fault-tolerant workflows, safe database writes, and alerting mechanisms.

Required Skills

• Advanced Python (pandas, data pipelines, error handling)
• Browser automation (Playwright preferred)
• Experience with LLM APIs and/or vision extraction (Anthropic, Gemini, etc.)
• Structured storage (SQLite/Postgres) and dashboard/reporting
• macOS background scheduling (cron, LaunchDaemons)
• Non-negotiables: No hostile scraping; only use legitimate paid accounts. Outputs in AUD and metric units.
