Role Overview

We are looking for a creative Animator to bring our podcasts to life through engaging animated videos. This role focuses on crafting animations that blend the informative style of explainer videos with the visual appeal of animated presentations, akin to the popular Asianometry videos. Our aim is to maintain a unified, minimalistic art style across all our video content.

Responsibilities

• Create animated videos that complement and enhance podcast content, ensuring clarity and engagement.
• Develop a consistent and minimalistic art style for all animations to maintain brand identity.
• Collaborate asynchronously with the team to understand podcast themes and translate them into visual stories.
• Utilize any animation tools of choice to deliver high-quality animated content.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in animation, with a portfolio showcasing work that aligns with explainer and presentation-style videos.
• Ability to produce animations that are both informative and visually appealing.
• Strong understanding of design principles and art styles, particularly minimalism.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with popular animation tools and software.
• Experience working on projects similar to Kurzgesagt or other high-quality explainer videos.
