Locofy-Focused Frontend Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Locofy-Focused Frontend Developer to transform well-structured Figma designs into clean, reusable React code. You will play a critical role in ensuring seamless integration with existing Storybook component systems, leveraging your expertise in Locofy, React, and Tailwind CSS.

Responsibilities

• Export and optimize React code from Figma files using Locofy, ensuring the code is clean and reusable.
• Utilize component overrides, variant mapping, prop wiring, and class merging to enhance code quality.
• Integrate Locofy exports with existing Storybook component systems effectively.
• Apply strong React fundamentals, including hooks, component patterns, and prop/state handling.
• Adjust and refine styles using Tailwind CSS as necessary.
• Identify and reuse Storybook components, mapping Figma layers or components to existing counterparts.
• Navigate Figma to identify reusable elements and handle component variants and auto layout efficiently.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Locofy with the ability to export React code from Figma.
• Strong understanding of React fundamentals and experience with Tailwind CSS.
• Familiarity with Storybook and the ability to integrate with existing components.
• Experience in navigating Figma and converting interactions into usable UI logic.

Nice to Have

• Experience in handling Figma interactions such as input validations or error states and translating them into UI logic.
