Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled IBKR Python Code Engineer to automate trading strategies. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing Python scripts to streamline and optimize trading operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate trading strategies on the IBKR platform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand trading requirements and translate them into efficient code.
- Ensure the robustness and reliability of the automated trading system by conducting thorough testing and debugging.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of the trading automation to adapt to market changes.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Python programming, with a focus on automation and scripting.
- Experience with the Interactive Brokers (IBKR) API.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of trading strategies and financial markets.
Nice to Have
- Experience in algorithmic trading and quantitative analysis.
- Familiarity with other programming languages such as C++ or Java.
- Understanding of data analysis and visualization tools.
