About the Company

We’re building a cutting-edge platform at the intersection of finance and artificial intelligence, designed to revolutionize the M&A (mergers & acquisitions) deal process. Our AI-powered tool helps firms drastically accelerate due diligence and document creation by processing diverse client inputs—financials, marketing materials, questionnaires—and autonomously generating high-quality, analyst-level outputs.

Our platform synthesizes complex data into dynamic presentations (~50 slides) with a built-in AI-powered editor, enabling users to revise slide content using natural language and seamlessly export to PowerPoint.

This is a mission-critical project with a chance to build genuinely novel tech that gives users a competitive edge in a high-stakes industry.

About the Role

We're seeking a mid-level full-stack engineer (3–5 years of experience) to join us for a 6–8 week, part-time contract (~20 hours/week). You’ll be working with a small, driven team to complete key functionality in our existing web app and ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.

Required Skills

• React (modern hooks-based architecture)
• Node.js (strong API/backend experience)
• Proficiency with Cursor or similar AI-powered development tools
• Full-stack development expertise
• Experience working with Express API
• MongoDB for data modeling and persistence
• Comfortable working independently and rapidly iterating

Nice to Have Skills

• Tailwind CSS for rapid, responsive UI development
• Experience with Supabase
• Interest or background in AI/ML applications
• Familiarity with creating or exporting dynamic presentations (PowerPoint or slide-based tools)
